Many people think that the Chinese characters are too difficult to learn. This course is created to make learning the written Chinese easier. It teaches you the tricks and rules which can help you remember the characters in an enjoyable way.

    There are various hypothesis of how the Chinese writings appeared. One of the most believable theories was the pictographic theory; i.e. each written symbol of the Chinese writing is made up by a pictogram or the picture of an object. Nowadays, linguistic analysts of the Chinese characters use to group the Chinese characters in four composition systems: 1.) that of the shape or form of an object (xiang-xing); 2.) that of the symbolized fact (zhi-shi); 3.) the abstract meaning (hui-yi); and 4.) the combination of the form of an object and the phonetics (xing-sheng).
