| RECIPE WITH TOFU |

Tofu is made of soya, rich in protein and without fat. Tofu itself does not have a distinctive flavor, and thus is often cooked together with other food which gives a stronger taste.

![]() Step 2 - Cook the tofu in boiling water for a couple of minutes until the tofu cubes float in the water. |
Step 3 - Add oil and some ginger to a pan and heat it with fire. Stir fly the minced meat in the hot pan. To let the flavor of the ginger come out, it is important to crush it before mincing. Put the cooked tofu again into the pan and stir fly together with the meat for one more minute. Add salt, soya sauce and black pepper. If you like the hot spicy flavor, you can add some red pepper. If the sauce stays too liquid, you can mix a teaspoonful of corn flour with a little bit of water in a small separate plate, then pour the mixture bit by bit into the pan while stirring the meat with tofu under strong fire. The longer the fire is on, the dryer and thicker the sauce will become. So turn the fire off once your favorite thickness is obtained. |
Step 4 - Add a bit of fresh chives to give a final touch to the dish. |
